On this magical tour, we'll drive out to a rural location just outside of Tairāwhiti Gisborne, where the sky is clear and the stars are bright. There we will meet our knowledgeable astronomer who's ready to tell you all about the wonders of the sky!
6-7 telescopes will be waiting for you, and participants can circulate around to see various targets, such as the constellations of The Southern Cross, Centaurus, and Carina.
The Gisborne Astro Tours are the first and only astro tour on the east coast of Aotearoa, New Zealand, and stargazers come from afar to revel in the glorious dark skies of the Land of the Long White Cloud.
